VermeilFor a piece to be considered Vermeil it needs to have at least 1 micron of 10k gold. We use .925 silver with a 14k gold micron. We should not confuse it with the bath or traditional gold plate, since these have a smaller micron or are bathed on brass and other metals. |
RECOMMENDATIONS
If it is Solid Gold or Silver, you don't have to worry, it will last you a lifetime, you can get it wet, bathe, or exercise with it.
In the case of Gold Vermeil, being a Gold plating, it will eventually lose its original shine; unlike other platings that exist in steel or brass, we use .925 Silver with 1 micron of 14k Gold.
The care we recommend is:
- Do not get it wet (bathing, exercising, or swimming)
- Store it in the pouch that comes with the product when not in use.
