When do we request your INE?
In specific cases, we may request a copy of your INE (National Electoral Institute ID) as part of our security protocol to verify the buyer's identity. This measure is mainly applied to high-value orders such as Gold and Silver, or in situations where unusual activity is detected.
Because we work with precious metals such as solid Gold and .925 Silver, it is essential to protect both our customers and our company against possible fraud, chargebacks, or identity theft attempts.
All information provided will be treated with strict confidentiality and deleted once the verification process has been validated.
What happens if I don't send my INE?
In some specific cases, as a security measure and to protect ourselves against fraud or chargebacks, we may request an official ID (INE) to verify the buyer's identity.
If you choose not to send your INE when requested, we reserve the right to:
Temporarily withhold processing your order until your identity is confirmed.
This measure primarily applies to high-value orders such as Gold and Silver, or in situations where unusual activity is detected.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
